...Are we really happy with this lonely game we play?
Looking for the right words to say Searching, but not finding understanding anyway We're lost in this masquerade Both afraid to say we're just too far away From being close together from the start We tried to talk it over but the words got in the way We're lost inside this lonely game we play Thoughts of leaving disappear each time I see your eyes And no matter how hard I try To understand the reason why we carry on this way We're lost in this masquerade ... ------ Very sketchy Return to Labyrinth fan art. Toby makes his reappearance in the Underground as the heir to the Goblin throne. The picture actually depicts Sarah and the Goblin King in the foreground, and Toby (derived from a picture of the older Toby Froud) and my rendition of a newly introduced character in the manga sequel, Moppet, in the background. Yes, I know very well that according to the manga timeline Toby is only thirteen. I couldn’t find any other pictures of Toby Froud, so I had to do with what I had. Moppet was mostly copied from Brain Froud’s initial art concept of Sarah. If anyone’s wondering, it should vaguely look like Jennifer Morrison (if it doesn't, ah well). Oh, and by the way, sorry for the inaccuracy for Sarah’s breast size.  This was done purely in pen, therefore all the mistakes (anatomical, etc.) could not be erased. I tried my very best to mask them, but lazy as I am, this may or may not have succeeded. Sorry about that. Will attempt to color this in the near future. But I’m not promising it will be any better. Any suggestions on coloring this image will be taken into account so please comment! On a random note… If anyone out there can hear this: Please, pretty please make a music video for Jareth and Sarah to Billy Idol’s Sweet Sixteen or Building a Mystery by Sarah Mclachlan. I’d simply love to see it happen.  |
