The message boards haven't made it much easier, either, as some comments I've read on the subject make it feel like the main reason for giving her the ax is to keep Ben single so the writers can always have him open to flirt with new girls for some cheap sexual tension (the same vibe I got from Jennifer Nocturne and Eunice). Of course, the efforts to pander to G1 fanboys probably play a big role, too, but overall it just adds to my list of reasons to avoid the new series.
The sense of lost nostalgia is almost what I've got planned with Derailed (coming along slowly, mostly because of wrist pain).
I've always loved the concept of it and was so excited about the idea of Derailed when you told me about it. It's so beautiful. You should take care of yourself first and foremost though. What happened with the wrist? Hopefully you get well soon.
