I've been enjoying the episodes of Omniverse so far :iconawwwplz: I don't quite know why but Blukic and Driba Go to Mr Smoothies, Arrested Development and Bros in Space were downright heart-stealing. Maybe it's transference of my current feelings for my other show but I doubt that. I think something's definitely improving. But I haven't had the ability to navel-gaze on why so I can't really write a review either. There is, however, an obvious bump in animation lately (my sister said, "Hey, no more missing frames and we didn't get treated to slideshow fight scenes!" Note: My sister created a powerpoint of Rath fighting with Khyber and asked to be paid for her hardwork after that one episode) and the focus on Rook on the most recent episode was wonderful. I totally Rook/Rayona SO HARD. Ahmagahd I gotta do something for those two. They reminded me of Benlie in AF and all the flufftastic feelings. I will fic or art that thing soon enough.

In the meantime, I just noticed Ben's many hairdos through the different series. So since he's so metro, I had to do something on it. That's still Ben and Julie mucking with their hair on the last one, Julie's just wearing a wig and Ben's just abusing hair gel. :iconteheplz: I will color this.

EDIT: Am I the only one who sees this when staring at Julie’s new design? :icontwitchingplz: I just… It’s the art style. Instead of looking like the adorable Hinata-chan with the longish hair, she looks more like Rock Lee. :iconiwannagohomenowplz: :iconalcoholicguymemeplz: At least Ben 23 just looks utterly fruity, which brings me much amusement. :iconteheplz:

My sister goes in defense with, “No, he just looks preppy.” And I’d be like, “Heck no. He’s bloody fruity, man.” I am, however, still enjoying episodes. It's starting to feel like Twilight Zone 'round here. I exclaimed: "Four episodes of awesome in a row!" :faint:

Julie is so cute! XD Oh my! I mistaked them for Naruto and Hinata!

When I saw Julie in Omniverse, I knew that you would draw her with the hair down. I imagined her looking like Hinata! :lmao: I was so right!

I'm glad you like it! Ben had a lot of hairstyles over the different series, it's fun to play around with it.

Damn, really sorry I didn't give a "Need plenty of Sanity Watcher's Points to view" warning. :XD: It's awful that my first reaction was thinking she looks awfully like a racist Asian caricature with that hairstyle and her facial design that all she needs is a triangular woven hat. :iconverynotimpressedplz: I hope I'm the only one who had that kind of a knee-jerk revulsion response to the image. But I'm guessing not.

...That was my reaction too. It was horrible. Why did they take a design of a cute, pretty girl and do THAT?

I don't know. But I really doubt there's any love for the character to begin with from the designer so I guess I'm not surprised about how horribly it all turned out.
